Purchaser agrees to the following:
1. Under no circumstances will this cat/kitten be sold, leased or given away to any pet shop, breeder or other individual without the written permission of Pacific Coast Cats.
2. This cat will be kept indoors and not allowed to roam freely outside.
3. This cat/kitten is purchased as a Pet ___ Breeding____ Show____ cat/kitten.
4. Seller will provide registration papers.
5. Seller agrees to provide the first kitten vaccination prior to completion of sale. Purchaser will be expected to provide any additional vaccinations or veterinary costs that occur following the purchase of the kitten/cat.
6. This kitten/cat will not be de-clawed, unless previously discussed with seller.
7. This kitten/cat is being fed a high quality premium cat food which meets appropriate nutritional guidlelines for adequate growth and health.
8. Seller will provide registration papers to purchaser upon proof of spay/neuter by licensed veterinarian.
Health Guarantee:
The cat/kitten is guaranteed to be of sound health at the time of purchase.
Purchaser agrees to take the new kitten/cat for vet check within 72 hours of purchase.If within that time the kitten is deemed unhealthy (by a vet) or has a congenital defect, seller agrees to replace the kitten or give purchaser his/her money back. After the 72 hour period the cat cannot be returned unless cat/kitten has a congenital defect found by a Veterinarian at a later time. It is recommended that a new cat/kitten be in quarantine during this time. Purchaser agrees that he/she is solely responsible for any veterinary costs associated with the purchase of the cat/kitten.
If the kitten/cat is found to be medically deficient, with an untreatable or life-threatening problem, such problem must be reported to the Seller immediately (within 24 hours). If a veterinarian certifies that the kitten/cat is medically deficient with an untreatable or life threatening disorder, then the kitten/cat may be returned to the Seller. Upon its return, the cat/kitten will be replaced with another kitten/cat of equal value or the purchase price (less the deposit) will be refunded. If a cat/kitten is returned and no replacement is available at the time of return, Seller will have 6 months to furnish a satisfactory replacement.
The cat/kitten cannot be returned after the 72 hour guarantee period has expired and/or if it has been exposed to another cat which has not been currently tested for FELV and FIP.
Under no circumstances is a kitten/cat to be destroyed prior to notification of Seller by Purchaser. If a cat/kitten dies within the guarantee period, despite medical treatment, compensation will be made only if a veterinarian certifies that the cause of death is a direct result of inadequate health at the time of purchase. Compensation shall be limited to the original purchase price of the cat/kitten. The Purchaser is responsible for all veterinary costs.
The cat/kitten is guaranteed against congenital defects for one year. Should the cat die within that time as a direct result of a congenital defect, the cat will be replaced only if an appropriate autopsy is performed by a licensed vet and a vet's certificate is provided as proof of cause of death. A replacement will be made of a cat of comparable quality and value, as available, at the discretion of the Seller. The Purchaser is responsible for all veterinary costs.
It is the responsibility of Purchaser to provide immediate veterinary care to any cat/kitten showing signs of illness or distress. Failure to do so will render any guarantee null and void.
This contract is legally binding to all parties involved. It applies to the Seller and Purchaser in this transaction and is non-transferable to other parties.
